There are unique properties about Eclipsarum's setting and environment.
weather
Eclipsarum is blessed with a year-round temperate climate, maintaining a comfortable 70 degrees, making it an idyllic haven for its residents. The city has subtle variations in weather across its districts (ie maalite being more hot and dry while penumbral is cool).
Recently, however, the weather in Eclipsarum has taken a peculiar turn. Unusual phenomena have been observed, especially at night past the universal curfew. Strange, unseasonal storms have appeared without warning, their lightning illuminating the night sky with colors unseen before. Dark Mists , thick and swirling, blanket the Blythe forests. Some residents have reported a "glitched" moon. Once a month, at 4am, the moon is eclipsed by something.It disappears at 4:05am before anyone can report or picture it.
curfew
for safety's sake, a curfew is set urging residents to stay within their apartment grounds and homes after 11:50pm . guards, ever watchful, patrol the city ensuring peace and order. rumors whisper of their prowess against creatures that dare trespass, painting them as valiant protectors —as fearless hunters of the unknown. the forests are forbidden— the blythe grounds in particular seem to repel or turn around any curious resident almost like magic . there seems to be magic borders past certain areas as well .

They enhance the world and provide depth to your interactions. Note their control levels:Limited - Controlled solely by their creator, usually during special events. Interaction depends on event circumstances. These NPCs can only be controlled by the users they are designed by.Basic - Used during events with full permission from creators. For casual RPs, interactions are limited and require permission. These NPCs are designed by users and placed in the world to be used freely. NPCs that own businesses usually fall under this category.Full - Common NPCs that any user can utilize anytime. In casual RPs, they can say basic things and interact with your character. NPCs that work at certain places usually fall within this category. They do not require permission if you are in their set location.NPCs should remain in their designated areas unless specified otherwise. Feel free to use them as background characters in your pieces.
